Canned Facts Name : Tsukino Usagi In Depth Usagi Tsukino is what most people would qualify as your average underachieving teenage girl. But people who say this don't know Usagi very well. Sure, she's a little boy crazy, and her marks aren't stellar, she's a little
clumsy, and a bit of a cry-baby (even *she* thinks so!) but that's only on the surface. There's so much more to Usagi. When we first meet Usagi, she's a bit of a flake. She gets into trouble a lot, especially with her
teachers. But as the manga progresses, Usagi grows up and we learn more about her beautiful, shining heart. She likes everybody and doesn't want to see anybody hurt, and she's an incredibly loyal friend. Usagi wants peace,
happiness, and love more than anything else in the world and she strives for it. When these things disappear from her life, she'll go into denial about it. When she witnessed the taking of Mamoru's Sailor Crystal, she went into
shock and couldn't even remember the event. She lives with her parents, Ikuko-mama and Kenji-papa, in her home in Juuban. She has a little brother too, Shingo, who she thinks is a major brat ^_^ Chibiusa comes to live with her
for a while as well as Chibi Chibi. Usagi's biggest dream is to be with Mamoru for the rest of their lives and her largest fear is to be alone with no friends or someone to love. She's also really afraid of ghosts, dentists, and
vampires. The Princess In the Silver Millennium, a beautiful kingdom on the moon existed. The queen was the kind, generous and beautiful Queen Serenity and her daughter was the Princess Serenity. Princess Serenity was
betrothed to the Prince of Earth, Endymion. They loved each other very much and on the night of their wedding (this is what I've heard, anyway)
the Moon Kingdom was destroyed. The Dark Kingdom killed Prince Endymion and in grief, Princess Serenity drove the Holy Blade of the Ginzuishou into herself. The four princesses of the Inner Planets couldn't stop her, and Queen Serenity decided to send all the people of the Silver Millennium, including the Dark Kingdom, to a brighter future on Earth.
The Soldier of Mystery Sailormoon's first battles are hard ones for her. She has no idea what to do, she just wants to be a normal girl, not a soldier, but she grows into the role. She becomes a strong girl
and never regrets becoming a soldier. Her original mission assigned to her by her guardian cat, Luna, is to find the Moon Princess, the Ginzuishou and protect them both. But later, the soldier find out that Sailormoon is in actuality
the Moon Princess and is supposed to be protected by the four Inner Planet soldiers. Sailormoon isn't very strong in hand to hand combat, nor are her attacks considered all that powerful either, but her pure heart is her strongest
weapon. It lends her the strength she needs, and it gives her the strength and loyalty of her fellow soldier. Even as Sailormoon, she doesn't like to harm others. During Infinity, the Outer Planet soldier tell her that she must
kill Hotaru, but she refuses to because she thinks it's wrong. When Hotaru becomes Sailorsaturn and destroys Mistress 9 as well as Tokyo, Sailormoon restores life to Hotaru as well as Tokyo. The Queen In the year 2000, Usagi
at the age of 22, ascends the throne of Crystal Tokyo to become Neo Queen Serenity, along with her consort, King Endymion. They have a daughter they call Princess Usagi Small Lady Serenity or Chibiusa for short.
As queen of Crystal Tokyo, she protects her subjects, the people of Earth, from enemy harm. She also later meets her past self, Sailormoon, even though she wasn't supposed to. She bestows upon her past self Planet Power as she does
with the other four soldier.
