Canned Facts Name : Hino Rei In Depth Hino Rei is considered to the beautiful, mysterious, mean girl of
the four Inner Planet soldier. Rei is perceived this way because she has a strong sense of pride that can overrule her good judgement and she can be really bitchy when approached. Usagi says she's scary when she's angry ^_^
She keeps to herself usually and doesn't have many close friends because she says you can't put faith in people. The soldier are the only people she really trusts. She calls them "kindred spirits with the same goal." Rei gets
many strange premonitions and is often said to possess the powers of ESP (extrasensory perception.) She hates superstitious people and will get angry, stubborn, and prideful with anybody who even implies that her powers make her freaky
and "different." Rei has a talent for meditation which heightens the truth found in her visions. Rei is kind and formal to her fellow T-A students and is extremely popular amongst boys and girls alike. Still, despite Rei's
popularity with guys, she doesn't trust any of them. Her favourite flowers are Casablancas since she was given some by a boy she liked on her birthday, even though he betrayed her trust. Rei is a mika at a shrine on Sendai Hill called
Hikawa Jinja which literally means Fire River Shrine. Her grandfather owns it and she's lived with him ever since she was a small girl. Her father is a politician, a member of the Democratic Liberal Party, and her mother died a
long time ago. She only sees her father on her birthday and they don't get along very well. She says that after seeing how her father and mother got along, that she'll never marry. Her dream is to become a wonderful head
priestess for Hikawa Jinja. She also longs to be a polite girl and to fight well. Rei is said to be afraid of nothing, but I think she's afraid of being beaten in anything since she is so prideful. Rei's closest friends seem to
be Minako, Kotono (a student at her school who knows of her double life as Sailormars), and her crows Phobos & Deimos. The Soldier of War Sailormars is the second soldier to join Sailormoon on her mission to find and protect the
Moon Princess and Ginzuishou. Despite her very obvious affinity to battle, she doesn't want to be a soldier and wishes for peaceful times more strongly then any of the soldier. Sailormars is a very strong soldier both mentally,
physically and power wise. She possesses excellent hand to hand combat and martial arts skills and often fights this way. Mars' fire based powers are extremely destructive and she in fact killed Jedeite in one blast of fire.
In battle, she has the most nerve and sense and will be one of the first to lead into battle. Mars also has excellent marksmanship and never misses her target. Her powers of ESP also allow her to see the good in the darkest evil.
Phobos and Deimos have also been known to lend her help in discovering mysteries and in battle.
