Minako is very close to Usagi in personality. She has a very sunny outlook, kinda clumsy, and an underachiever (she only studies when she absolutely *has* to!) People think she's snobby and shallow because she sometimes has a
tendency to say things she doesn't mean and because she wants to be an idol. Really, she is a very kind hearted girl who cares about her friends, even though she doesn't always act it. Minako is a very playful girl. She really
enjoys life, you can tell. She's almost always very happy, even while she's flunking all her exams ^_^ Her and Usagi are high school flunking buddies, it's really rather kawaii ^_^ Despite Minako's kindness and her obvious
easy going nature, she can be cheezed off super easy and calls people nasty names she doesn't really mean at all. She can also be incredibly stubborn when she wants to and stands up for what she believes in. Minako really wants to
be in a relationship and she wants other people to be in happy relationships too. Once, she got so excited over helping Ami's love dilemma, that she just about took her shirt off ^_^;; Her talent and hobby is goofing off and she
loves to read manga. She lives with her parents in Juuban. Minako's mother looks a lot like Usagi's mother. And apparently Minako's mother *acts* a lot like Usagi's mother too because Minako is afraid of her mother ^_^ Hey,
I'd be afraid of Minako's mother too if she acted like Usagi's mother did! Minako's dream is to sing and be an idol. She loves idols very much, so she loves chasing them too. Minako says she's afraid of her mama and the police
^_^ She looks up to Makoto as a big sister, she thinks Ami is kinda scary but she likes her anyway, and she finds that she loves talking with Usagi. The Red Ribbon Minako always wears a pretty red ribbon in her hair. Not
a lot of people know why, but there *is* a story behind why Minako wears it. When Minako was 13 (this is in the first volume of Sailor V) she had a huge crush on an older guy at her school, named Higashi. At the cram school she
attended, she was having trouble in math so Higashi was asked to tutor her. Now Minako is like SUPER tomboyish at this point in her life and she never cries and stuff ^_^ But Higashi told her that he likes girls who wear big red
ribbons in their hair because it makes them look feminine. Right away, she ties a red ribbon in her hair in hopes to get his attention. When she later finds out that he was using girls to steal energy and that he was telling *every*
girl that they'd look pretty wearing a red ribbon, she introduced him to the Sailor V Chop! ^_^ And she's worn a red ribbon in her hair ever since. The Pretender Sailorvenus appeared to the four Inner Planet soldiers with her cat
guardian, Artemis, claiming to be their lost Moon Princess. She bore the moon mark to prove it too. Sailorvenus knew all about the past, in the Silver Millennium. She knew that she had to hide the truth to protect the true Moon
Princess from harm. So she posed as Princess Serenity to take all attention from the real Moon Princess, Sailormoon. She made sure none of the soldier knew this, including Sailormoon, to protect them from harm as well. But when
all was revealed, the true identities and the pasts, Venus could do nothing to protect the princess she loved. The Soldier of Love Sailorvenus was the first soldier to be discovered on Earth by her guardian Artemis, though she was
the fourth soldier to join Sailormoon and "completed" her mission by saying she was the Moon Princess they were looking for. She isn't the Moon Princess, but in actuality the leader of Princess Serenity's guard. As a soldier,
Sailorvenus is calm, organized, and very much a leader. She leads most attacks and will often be the first one to rush to Sailormoon's aid. Sailorvenus isn't a very good physical fighter but she can protect herself. Her
powers are slightly stronger, often having to deal with love and everyone knows that love is a double edged sword. Despite Venus' lack of physical strength, she is the only one of the soldier who can wield the Holy Blade of the
Ginzuishou. She isn't the strongest of the soldier, but she is a strong leader and organizes attacks. She is strong in that respect, that she'll get things done. The Soldier of Victory
Before Minako became Sailorvenus of the Sailor Soldier, she was Sailorvenus, code name Sailor V. When Minako was 13, Artemis came to her, telling her she had the protection of the goddess Venus and that she was Sailor V. Minako was
unwilling, and would much rather chase the cute boys at her school and hang out with her best friend, Hikaru. But she soon grows into the role and becomes the popular and mysterious crime fighter, Sailor V. When Sailormoon began
appearing, Sailor V's activities became dormant and she didn't reappear until act 8 of the manga.
